Welcome to Taste Test Tuesdays and our third episode! In this series, we will be eating a variety of international cuisines that London has to offer. Trying their food and giving our honest opinions!

In this episode we visit Señor Ceviche, a Nikkei Peruvian restaurant and Pisco Bar based just off Carnaby Street in Kingly Court, Soho, where like-minded lovers of ceviche and Pisco Sours unite.

Nikkei cuisine is the Peruvian style of cooking often billed as Japanese-Peruvian “fusion.” Nikkei refers to Japanese people living outside of Japan and the cuisine that results when you merge traditional Peruvian ingredients and Japanese cuisine. Think miso, ginger, soy, wasabi and rice vinegar weaved into Peruvian ingredients such as aji or yellow pepper, Andes potatoes and corn. Inspired by travels around Peru, the menus at Señor Ceviche showcase the diverse flavours and cooking techniques and the rich variety of homegrown ingredients.

We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed the tasting, filming and making of this video.
