Join us as we take a 26 min walk around the ultra-modern area of Canary Wharf, located on the Isle of Dogs.

We start the walking tour outside Canary Wharf station and 1 Canada Square.

1 Canada Square is the third highest building in London, standing at 235m tall. As well as being able to see it at the start of the video, you can get another good look at it from the other side of it at 11:38.

To see how 1 Canada Square fares against other tall buildings in London, you can watch our Tallest Buildings in London Vlog here: https://youtu.be/HlINa0hjqUw

Canary Wharf is a business centre with lots of high-rise buildings, and even more than in The City of London itself. There are 25 buildings in Canary Wharf / Isle of Dogs district which are at least 100 metres (328 ft) tall. The area constitutes one of the main financial centres in the United Kingdom and the world.

Canary Wharf was developed on the former West India Docks site so there are a lot of docks surrounding the buildings. There are lots of fun activities that take place in the docks including open water swimming and floating hot tubs.

Along the walk we also come across a lot of fun and interesting art installations.

The brand-new Elizabeth Line station can be seen at 20:12.
