Walkaround London Bridge & Borough, SE1
The SE1 postcode covers a vast area between Vauxhall to the West, Bermondsey to the East, Elephant and Castle to the South and the River Thames to the North. It is made up of smaller neighbourhoods such as Waterloo, Southwark, Borough and London Bridge. As it sits south of the River Thames it is also known as South London.
We previously did a walking tour covering Waterloo and Southwark and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/K08FZRAE7gk
On this 45-minute London walking tour, we take you around London Bridge and Borough, which is the other half of the SE1 postcode.
We start the tour at Tower Bridge and walk along the River Thames on The Queen’s Walk. You get a nice glimpse of The City across the river. We walk past the More London Riverside buildings, past the HMS Belfast warship and through the Hays Galleria coming out at London Bridge. We then cross London Bridge and head towards Borough Market along Green Dragon Court. After taking a walk around Borough Market we come out at London Bridge station. We walk down from London Bridge through to Borough station where we end our tour.
