Acquisition of Extra Office Space in Holborn
One One One are delighted to have completed on the acquisition of the 7th floor at Queens House, 55-56 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, Holborn, London WC2A 3LJ.
Our client is an economics, finance, competition and regulation advisory firm. They were established in 2001 and as well as having an office in London, they now also have one in Sydney, Australia. They have worked on projects in more than 50 countries.
Their success and growth meant they needed more office space. Luckily for them there was a floor above them which suited their requirements and gave them the opportunity to expand within their existing building.
The 7th floor has lovely views over Lincoln’s Inn Fields. It is situated in the heart of Midtown, just a few minutes’ away from Holborn Station.
The building benefits from a manned building reception, cycle storage, showers and car parking. It has a main entrance on Lincoln’s Inn Fields, and there is also another entrance on Kingsway.
Queens House is one of the few remaining original buildings, dating back to when the road Kingsway was built in 1915. It maintains some of its original architectural features, but has also been refurbished to suit the modern day world.
This is the second deal we have undertaken with our client in recent months as we recently completed a rent review for them on their floor below.
We made sure the new lease on the new floor was as tenant friendly as possible by agreeing a coterminous term for both of their floors in the building. They were also granted a healthy rent free period.
