In this walkabout we explore the very affluent area of Knightsbridge.

Bordering a vast section of Hyde Park, the area boasts grand Victorian homes and lots of leafy garden squares.

We start our tour outside Knightsbridge Station, on the Piccadilly line, and walk down Brompton Road towards the iconic Harrods department store. We get the full view of the majestic building which houses Harrods at about 01:40.

We continue down the road past the Grade II listed London Oratory Roman Catholic Church which can be seen at 09:00.

Next door is the grand Victoria and Albert museum which is the world’s largest museum of applied arts, decorative arts and design. Founded in 1852, it was named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Natural History Museum and Science Museum are very close by deeming this area the “museum quarter”.

We turn right at Exhibition Road and walk north towards the distinctive Royal Albert Hall, which has been an iconic concert venue since 1871.

At 22:00 you get a lovely view across to Kensington Gardens opposite the Royal Albert Hall and The Albert Memorial.
