Join us as we take a very leafy and scenic 20 minute walk around the London neighbourhood of Paddington, W2.

Paddington is a relatively small neighbourhood and is roughly bounded by Marble Arch, Lancaster Gate, Royal Oak and Edgware Road stations.

The area blends shiny offices with elegant Georgian townhouses and apart from Paddington Bear, is famous for Paddington station which is a national rail hub, home to the Heathrow Express and which provides train services from London to South Wales and South-west England. Trains will take you to places like Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth and Swansea.

Paddington Underground Station has 5 tube lines running through it, namely, Hammersmith and City, Bakerloo, District, Circle, and more recently the Elizabeth Line too.

We start our tour outside the station before making our way along Praed Street, Craven Road and then up Westbourne Terrace.

At 12 mins in we get a lovely view from Bishops Bridge Road onto the train platforms at Paddington station below.

After crossing the bridge, we take the stairs down to the canal where we walk alongside the canal up towards Little Venice.

At 17:25 you will see the sculpture “Standing Man and Walking Man” By Sean Henry. The sculpture looks incredibly real and its only when we walk right past that you realise it is in fact just a sculpture.

Wave hi to the guy at 19:40 😉
